I am from Srilanka, presently working as an executive pastry chef/instructor in the British Virgin Islands. In this web site you will find the details about my academic and professional qualifications and also my current responsibilities.

Passed the G.C.E. (A/L) Examination with subjects Botany and Zoology.

  • The pastry coach of the British Virgin Islands Culinary Team.
  • Was an intermediate member of the British Virgin Islands Culinary Team.
  • Made a 30 meters cake to celebrate the Sultanate of Oman Renaissance Day held on July 23rd 2000.
  • Participated to Chaine des Rotisseurs DINER AMICAL at J.W. Marriott Hotel, Dubai on 20th May, 1998
  • Have involved making worlds longest and heaviest cake baked in Dubai on 2nd December 1996, to mark the U.A.E. National Day. (The Plaza Hotel, Dubai, U.A.E)
  • Was an intermediate member of the Emirates Culinary Guild.
  • Have extensive knowledge in sugar works, chocolate works, wedding cakes, show pieces etc.
  • Attained a special training held by John Keels Hotel in Sri Lanka for pastry and bakery products.
